KBXtreme announced Tuesday it will administer a $2,000 donation by the West Hawaii Bowling Association to open additional practice bowling services to Konawaena and Kealakehe High school bowling programs.

“We hope that this donation helps in promoting high school bowling and bowling in general,” said Jeff Gillum, president of the West Hawaii Bowling Association.

More than 10 Big Island high school bowling programs visit KBXtreme in Kailua-Kona every year. In October, KBXtreme will host the Hawaii High School Athletic Association’s State-Wide Bowling tournament with 200 youth bowlers.
